A CAT’S EYE VIEW

Black and White cat looking at camera

It is a tough life being a cat in Vincent House. So many people who want to pet me, so many birds to eye up flying around my lush Notting Hill garden and so many places to consider for my afternoon nap.  What’s a London cat to do?

I love living in Vincent House.  It is full of friendly residents from all over the World and I never find life boring.  I know I am lucky to have this nice, big building to roam around – I am spoiled for choice for where to wander.  It’s meant to be off-limits, but the residents’ lounge is one of my favourite (and secret) haunts – I ‘m not really eaves-dropping but I love hearing all about their busy day at work or listening to them talk about the yummy food they’ll be eating for dinner (especially love the food part – although there never seems to be any left for me!).

Now summer is here, I am going to take advantage of our lovely outdoor garden space. The warmer weather and sunshine (yes London gets sunshine), pretty flowers and the sounds of London nature make it a great place to hang out – you never know what you might find out there.  Not so long ago there was a couple of ducks which attracted my attention! I think the residents love it too.

My name is Flakey and I have a cat’s eye view of what is going on at Vincent House.  Along with my sister Snowy – by the way she’s a cute-looking girl, in case you’re wondering, and I’m a rather handsome boy, although I say so myself! We’ll be telling you about the inside goings-on and some of the best-kept secrets about Notting Hill life and the residents of Vincent House.  Richard, the General Manager, thinks we belong to him, but of course we know better – we’re the cool cats of Vincent House.  Meow for now!
